Smart4Chemicals are recruiting for a Technologist on behalf of one of our clients based in the southwest Lancashire area. This role is commutable from Liverpool, Warrington and West Manchester areas.

As a Technologist you will be responsible for helping the team meet decarbonisation and sustainability goals whilst also improving profitability and R&D projects.

To be considered for the role of Technologist you will ideally have previous experience in a lab environment. Any experience in working with glass is highly desirable.

Role requirements

  • Degree educated in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or another closely related STEM subject.
  • Previous experience in working with glass highly desirable.
  • Any experience in working in/around combustion chambers, furnaces or other high temperature environment also highly desirable.

Role responsibilities

  • Help the team meet decarbonisation and sustainability goals within the organisation.
  • Identify areas in the business for improvement in order to reach profit maximisation.
  • Hands on involvement in a variety of R&D projects.
