As the Synthetic Chemist you will be responsible for following existing methods and developing from scratch routes to small molecules for a World leader in their field. You will be part of an R&D team comprising other synthetic chemists, analytical chemists and process engineers to help you develop your skillset and contribute to the team goals. Your day to day duties as a Synthetic Chemist will be:

• Milligram to gram scale preparation of organic chemicals
• Use of the routine analytical suite
• Generating data to inform process scale-up
• Writing technical reports for management

You will be an ideal candidate with this background:

• 1-2 years industrial experience in synthesis
• A higher degree, or equivalent, in a relevant chemistry field
• The desire to develop your career in synthetic or process chemistry
• A good team-working approach and excellent written and verbal communication skills
