Do you have experience within Formulation and as a Technical Manager?

Do you have experience developing and understanding various horticultural products such as growing media?

If so, I am looking for a Technical Manager to join a company based in Chesire, who are a leading company in innovation and technology in the Horticultural scene. 

Technical Manager - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • New product development within growing media.
  • Commercially justify new opportunities around fertiliser, plant protection products, biologicals, adjuvants, plant health, wetting agents and soil amendments!
  • Formulation and regulatory requirements of the new product development process for both regulated and non-regulated products.
  • Long-term product development pipeline and liaise with external partners to ensure successful NPD and deliver leading innovation in chemical, non- chemical and horticulture controls.
  • Driving innovative technologies across the portfolio for new and existing products

Skills, experience and qualifications 

  • Will have a proven track record as a Senior/Technical Manager in Consumer Goods, in one of the following: Horticulture / Agri development / Agri Chemical, Chemicals or household controls
  • Experience in Growing Media - highly desirable
  • Will be delivering against pre-agreed targets and introducing new innovative ideas.
  • Are looking for a passionate Manager committed to delivering high standards with the enthusiasm and drive to succeed in a challenging fast moving environment.
  • Will have a strong work ethic, able to work alone and as part of the wider team
  • Will be highly analytical and an excellent communicator
  • Tangible track record in developing innovation and winning new business opportunities.
